This job is a ground-up, 60,000 square foot Biology Lab. This facility consists of (12) classroom settings each with its own prep room, (16) biology labs - each with a lab support room, and (2) lecture halls. In this building we provided the infrastructure for the Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV and Tel/Data. The electrical service is owned by the University and included a 4160 high voltage 1000KVA transformer, and a unit substation distribution 1600A switchboard which was backed up by a 250KW generator. There are (2) 1000A distribution boards and (2) 400A EM distribution boards - (1) on each level. Each class / lab room has its own 200A panel board.
