Travis C-17 Maintenance Training Facility

Provided and installed a fully furnished telecommunications system per the military’s specifications including all telephone and communication outlets. This project consisted of Category 5E horizontal cabling. This project had a requirement of (1) Main Telecommunications closet with (1) satellite closet, install the back bone cabling between the (2) closets which included (1) 100 pair category 3 cable and (1) 24 strand fiber optic cable. For the tie into existing utilities we pulled in (1) 200 pair Category 3 OSP cable and (1) 24 strand Hybrid fiber optics cable. We pulled both of these to vaults identified by the military and left coiled in the vault. We terminated the new campus backbone cables in new building.
