This design build project, located in Elk Grove, California, included four buildings totaling 680,000 square feet and related site work. Apple computer set-up this campus to provide manufacturing and distribution for the apple line of products.
Electrical work for this campus include three (3) 3000amp services, one (1) 4000amp service, emergency generators, UPS systems, logic controls, fire alarm, security, data communications, and a campus power/communications infrastructure.
The campus was built in a total of sixteen (16) months from the ground up. This schedule also included the design of all electrical systems. To maintain this schedule, each building was design-built in consecutive phases. In 1992 this project won the Associate Builders and Contractors "Best Electrical Project in Northern California".
